Sales of farms and land Realises £323,225
Messrs Stephenson and Alexander (F.A.I.) Cardiff, have sold freehold farms, small holdings and accommodation lands on the Tredegar Estates for a total of £323,225.
Lots sold to Tenants under private negation realised £16550
At the auction at the Mart high street Cardiff on Thursday, the small holding,Draethen Mill,was sold to Tudor Morgan, Taffs well for £960; the small holding Ty`n y wauin , Machen to Charles and Gladys Barton, Ponthir for £680; Pasture land at Beddau Caerphilly ,to Plymouth Estates Ltd in three lots, for £710, £490 and £430 ; the farm Tynewydd at Pen yr heol Caerphilly, to Mr. John Davies, Cwm farm Bedwas, for £025; pasture land in that district to Mr. T. J. Coggins, Cardiff in two lots at £290 and £100 and a third lot to Mr. Edward Orchard Pen yr heol for £18; the farm Wytherw to Mr. F.g. Mathwin, Lisvane for £500;Maesllan lands and cottage Gellygaer to Mr. J. Lewis ,Gellygaer, for ££1250 and pasture land Glyn-Ddwy -Nant, Ynysybwl to Mr. T.W.Davies The Cefn Pontypridd for £160
The Farms Hendai (Gellygaer) Tir Adam Uchaff (Gellygaer) and Nantyffin Bedlinog) and two cottages ,Reservoir cottages, were withdrawn. The vendor`s solicitors were Messrs Rider, Heaton, Meredith ,and Mills London.
Messrs Stephenson and Alexander also announced the sale of the residence, Pengarth, cliff parade Penarth to Hatter Cardiff for £1700 . The vendors solicitors were Messrs L.G.Williams and Prichard, Charles Street Cardiff
